When Patient Dashboard looks for immunisation data about influenza, shingles, tetanus, or pertussis, it looks in the immunisation section of the patient's medical record.
But for this to work correctly, Patient Dashboard must be able to tell whether any given immunisation contains the appropriate antigen. For example, if this is not set up correctly, Patient Dashboard won't know that the immunisation you have recorded is an influenza vaccine.
To fix this issue:
Medtech32: Setup → Recall/Screening → Vaccine
Evolution: File → Options → Recall/Screening → Vaccine
Locate and open the immunisation code that is not being recognised.
Click on the "Antigen" tab.
Make sure the appropriate antigens are defined for this code and add them if necessary.
The correct antigen codes are:
- TET (Tetanus)
- PERT (Pertussis)
- FLU (Influenza)
- VZV (Shingles)
If you go to add a code and it is not in the available list, you will need to contact Medtech to resolve this.
As soon as you have added the correct code, Patient Dashboard will then recognise the immunisation wherever this code has been used.
