This error can occur when installing forms in MyPractice and is usually because the current user is not associated with a specific practice. This is not uncommon for administrative users.
There are two ways to solve the problem.
- Log in as a nurse or GP (as these users are almost always associated with a practice).
- Edit the current user so that they are associated with a specific practice.
For option 2 above:
- Tools --> Staff --> Staff Details
- Double click on the currently logged-in user.
- Go to the Practitioner tab.
- Ensure that "Works for" is populated with an appropriate value.
- Logoff and log on again.
